Demand for our Silicone Sponge Sheet has continued to go from strength to strength since it was first introduced a decade or so ago, most notably among customers working in the food processing, pharmaceutical and medical industries, so we’ve now added HT-800 Grade Silicone Sponge Sheeting to our stock list.

The HT-800 sheeting is prized for its high versatility and its medium firmness, combining the lightness of a foam with the enhanced sealing capabilities of a heavier sponge rubber.

HT-800 Grade Silicone Sponge Sheeting has proven particularly useful for outdoor applications and is often employed to seal and protect a variety of communication, electronics and lighting facilities.

Its compact cell structure and unique formulation provides superb sealing performance against penetration by fine particles and wind-driven rain, and it also boasts excellent shock reduction and vibration isolation qualities.

We supply our range of Silicone Sponge Sheet in roll form in a wide variety of thicknesses, allowing fabricators to easily convert the material to specific dimensions. We can also fabricate bespoke Silicone Sponge seals and gaskets to order in our state-of-the-art workshop here in Devizes.

Metal Detectable Silicone Sheets have become in-demand and we’ve recently added 8mm and 10mm Metal Detectable Silicone Sheet to our warehouse stock.

Contamination

Contamination caused by small quantities of degrading silicone seals entering the production process can end up costing a food and drink processing businesses thousands of pounds in lost production and recalls if it goes undetected for any length of time.
Traces of the metal detectable silicone are immediately picked up by sensors on the production line if they fall into processing, meaning production can be stopped instantly and the problem quickly identified and rectified.
