Why Choose Silicone Sponge Sheet
Our silicone sponge sheet is a lightweight, flexible sealing material designed for applications where compressibility and environmental sealing are more important than structural strength.
Manufactured from a closed-cell silicone sponge compound, it offers excellent resistance to water absorption, weathering, UV exposure, and ozone, while maintaining stable performance across a wide temperature range typically from around -60°C to +200°C.
Its cellular structure allows it to compress easily under load and recover its shape when pressure is released, making it ideal for creating effective seals on uneven or irregular surfaces.
This combination of resilience and flexibility makes it widely used in gaskets, thermal insulation, vibration damping, and protective cushioning applications across industrial and commercial environments.
Available in a range of thicknesses, densities, and Shore hardness options, our silicone sponge sheet can be tailored to suit both light-duty and more demanding sealing requirements.
It is commonly used in industries such as HVAC, electrical enclosures, transportation, marine, and general engineering, where reliable long-term sealing is essential.
Available Grades Include:
- Standard 16 lb/ft³ (approx. 250 kg/m³) silicone sponge
- Lower density silicone sponge (approx. 10 lb/ft³)
- Higher density silicone sponge (approx. 24 lb/ft³ and 33 lb/ft³)
