Nitrile Rubber Cord
NBR cord is widely used for applications involving resistance to petroleum oils minerals and vegetable oils. It is also suitable for contact with aromatic hydrocarbons and most dilute alkalies and acids. NBR rubber cord also has good mechanical properties, low compression set and is most cost effective.
It is not suitable for high temperature fuel applications or for protection against ozone, ketones, esters, aldehydes, chlorinated and nitro hydrocarbons ,for this you would need viton cord
Neoprene Rubber Cord
Chloroprene rubber is fairly resilient when in contact with oils and chemicals, but has exceptional resistance to UV. This material also has excellent flame retardation qualities.
